Today at Grace's school it was kite flying day for the pre-toddler rooms. Those teachers at the Child Development Center have some AMAZING patience. I can only compare moving 28 toddlers to the fenced in baseball field across the street, to an act of herding cats. It was organized chaos. Once in the baseball field, the doors were shut to prevent escapes and the real chaos begins. Parents were invited to take part of this fun adventure, so I did. Grace, like most children wasn't too interested in actually getting the kites in the air. Once the kite was up in the air she wanted to hold the string handle for a few minutes, just to say she was flying the kite. After it failed to hold her attention it was back to playing in the dirt of the baseball diamond with the other kids. At least I got some photos of "her flying the kite."
