Today was the day we have been looking forward to for a few weeks. Today was the Southernmost Open-House Aviation Review (SOAR) at the Key West airport. This was a free event that had free airplane and helicopter rides for kids 8-17 years old. Carrera didn't want to ride, but Grace sure did! They had a variety of planes and helicopters that you could sit in and look at. Grace loved watching all the planes take off and land. She got to sit in the Key West International Airport fire truck and even meet US Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen. They even had a large section of aeronautical themed inflatables. It was a perfect day for both her and Brandon. Can't wait for next year!
