Grace got in to Brandon's bag of drum sticks today. She even managed to crawl up on to the seat and start playing. I had to swap her drum sticks, so she didn't ruin Brandon's "quiet" drum sticks. I was surprised how well she did, and she had a great time playing with the drums. Who knows, maybe we have another musician in the family.

Dad, Can I Have A Pony?
Every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, the Monroe County Sheriff department opens up the inmate operated animal farm to the public. Grace loved petting the pony, the rabbits and the baby alligator and getting kisses from the goats. She wasn't too fond of the ferret or the mice. I was surprised at how many animals they had there. We will be going back next time!

Ah Beeh (Ice Cream)
Since Grace got ice cream money for her birthday, we decided to take a bike ride to Dairy Queen and have some ice cream. She could harldy wait for the bike ride, she knew exactly where we were going. She ate a small cone all by herself.

Happy Birthday Grace!
I can't believe that my little girl is two! We had a Jessie themed small birthday party. Grace of course got spoiled. She got a beautiful handmade blanket from Grammy Jane and her first Barbie from Erica and Dana. She also got "ah beeh" (ice cream) money from Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Ron. She recognized that envelope right away! She also got her first bike. It's a balance bike. She is still a bit leery of it, but she at least she keeps asking to play with it.

Grace saw me wearing one of my many scarves today, she decided she needed to be just like her mommy.

Big Girl Now!
Grace outgrew her crib, so it was time to change her room a bit. Brandon and I spent quite a whiel refinishing Carrera's old bunk bed. We sanded it and painted it a nice off white color. We brought in Grace's new "house" and added new butterfly decorations. Now Grace's room has it's own kitchen, laundry room and living room, not to mention her own grocery store. She is set! She loves her new room, though she still wants mommy and daddy to "ay dow" (lay down) with her in her bunk bed. I hope she enjoys her new big girl room for many years.
