Chase And Shriek!

Grace has always liked to be chased, but now she is able to shriek even louder. I think it is a response to Brandon surprising her. She makes many laps around the kitchen and through the living room. It has become a nightly ritual. If she is naked she even goes faster.

Grace has always loved to play peek-a-boo. Now she has added the shriek factor to the game.

Silly Girl

Grace lately has liked to wear sunglasses. I hope this trend continues, especially down here in the hot sun. She is learning to put sunglasses on by herself. She makes such such silly faces while she put her glasses on.

Nap Time

It was a lazy Sunday afternoon and everyone except Grace wanted a nap. Brandon tried to lay down on the couch for a quick snooze. Grace had other plans. She would pretend to sleep for a few seconds, even putting her index finger up to her mouth and saying "shhh". Her sitting still didn't last long though. Only a matter of seconds...

Beat Up

I am a terrible mom. I felt horrible. I wasn't paying attention when I opened the door and accidentally hit Grace in the head with the corner of the door. She has a NASTY bruise and goose egg. I felt like the worst mom in the world. I think I cried more than she did.

Puppets?

For some odd reason, Grace lately has liked to put socks on her hands and go about her business. It doesn't matter if the socks are clean or dirty, she likes them all. Today she felt like going "grocery shopping" with her socks on. She has real puppets, but still likes socks better. Oh well.

Grocery Shopping

Grace is quite the spoiled little girl. She even has her own grocery store, complete with a better selection of fruit and veggies than what the real grocery stores stock here in Key West. Of course what store would be complete without a real grocery cart... She loves to push her baby around in the cart! She doesn't like it when you help her put things in the cart, she has to do it herself. I can see her having a lot of fun with this for many years!

CAUGHT!

It was awfully quiet in our house for too long. I went investigating and found Grace. She does take after me... She was in my shoe closet playing with my shoes. Who could stay mad at such a cute little girl.
