Home Phone

Grace continues to play with and just about live in her cardboard box. I've had to scrub some sticky unknown substances off of it and I've learned that she will play hide and seek by laying down in the box, but she still loves it. She drags just about everything in the box with her, today it was the house phone. I guess even cardboard boxes need a phone in them. I know if I cant' find the dish towel, it is usually in her house.

She is becoming quite the little camera hound. She hams it up whenever the camera is out, especially the video camera. I turned around the view screen today so she could see what we were filming and she thought that was GREAT... She even gave herself a kiss. Too cute!

While we were in Orlando spending time with Brandon's side of the family, my very talented sister in law took more photos of us. She got some adorable photos of our little curly cutie!

Cookie Monster

This has been one of those days that I would like to forget about. Grace was an absolute terror! She can now get in to the hall closet, which she proved today. She got managed to break the cap off the cooking oil and flood the hallway. Cleaning up cooking oil is no easy task. Vinegar and water didn't even touch it. I wiped it up and ended up using hot water and Dawn dish soap to cut the oil. Of course that entire time Grace kept thinking she needed a "horsey" ride and kept trying to climb on my back.

That was not the only thing that she did. She has discovered how to stick her hand down her diaper. You guessed it. She discovered that while she had a messy diaper and I was preoccupied cleaning the floors. I had to scrub the couch after she wiped her poo on it.

Needless to say, I needed a break. After scrubbing Grace clean from the poo couch incident I sat her down and gave her cookies. All the Oreos she could eat! It didn't really keep her occupied too long and it made a huge mess, but she was adorable!

Future Rock Star

Being Brandon's daughter, Grace has a natural draw to the drums. She loves to play with them. At first I thought it was because they were shiny, now I know it is because she likes to make noise. Brandon was teaching her how to play them tonight. She has a ball!
