Miss Grace has an independent streak a mile wide. I know that is probably a trait she got from me. She loves to pull herself up and stand up on things, including the bath tub. I don't want to encourage her to do that for fear she'll fall and get hurt. She however, is VERY determined to stand up. What used to be a fun half an hour of playing and splashing is now a struggle of getting that girl to stay on her rear end. Of course I'm trying very hard to keep a straight face when I tell her to sit down, but it is so hard not to laugh when she gives me looks like these.

(Are you looking?)

(See... Watch this Mom)

(If I make you laugh, I won't get in trouble)

(You're still laughing and I'm still NOT in trouble)

(I'm getting closer to standing!)

(Almost there!!!)

Of course sometimes she will get upset that I made her sit back down and she gives me the pouty baby eye rub looks. Shortly after that she'll start clapping and try it again. She is such a character!
(Darn, caught!)
